QLD Business Grant for non-employing entities

Your business may be eligible for financial support as a result of the lockdown between 31 July 2021 to 8 August 2021.


To be eligible for the one-off grant of $1,000 you must:

  • be an individual operating as a sole trader (this can include a non-employing business operating through a company, partnership or trust structure)

  • not employ staff

  • have a current Australian business number (ABN) continuously held since 30 June 2021

  • be registered for GST


To be eligible for the Covid-19 Business Support grant between $10,000 and $20,000 you must:

  • have a turnover of more than $75,000 per annum and have an annual payroll in Queensland of less than $1.3 million

  • have been impacted by any of:

    • the South East Queensland lockdown commencing 31 July 2021

    • the Cairns and Yarrabah lockdown commencing 8 August 2021

    • the closure of the Queensland–New South Wales border on 14 August 2021 (if your business is located in the border business zone).
